The stars aren't going anywhere...but our Statewide Star Party is moving to a new date!
Due to the weather forecast for this weekend, we're rescheduling the fun for Saturday, September 26.
We want you to experience the prairie sky at its best—telescopes, stars, wide-open views, and an evening worth staying up late for. 🔭✨

SKOL Vikings! Painted Prairie is hosting a Vikings Puzzle Challenge and you are invited to participate!
Wear your purple and it's time to compete! On Sunday, September 20th at 1:00 p.m. team sizes of four or less will face off against other teams completing a 500-piece Vikings themed puzzle. A $50 gift card will be given to 1st place team and $25 gift card to the 2nd place team.
Cost is $35 per team + tax. This includes the puzzle to take home. Cheers!

Please note: If your team plans to eat, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to ensure you get to enjoy your food before the challenge begins. The Vikings game will be on the television!
🌟 Attention All Stargazers!! 🌟
Due to rain in the forecast, we are moving the Statewide Star Party to September 26th!
In partnership with the Bell Museum, we will host a wonderful night of food, stargazing, and outdoor adventure for the whole family.
5:00 – 8:00 pm Live Music & Woodfire Pizza
7:00 – 10:00 pm Star Party
The Bell Museum will join us with a portable Unistellar Odyssey Pro telescope, giving guests the chance to discover fascinating celestial objects in the night sky. Once it’s dark enough, guests can line up at the telescope and take their turn observing what’s happening above us.
